Hidden just up the road from the Milledgeville ferry.
The Peninsula Princess is a great convenience for peninsula residents working at the hospital, the Air Canada call centre or other sites around Milledgeville. But, if you miss it, count on spending at least half an hour sitting waiting for the next trip.
I’ve lived here for 35 years, but still have trouble with the schedule, it seems to leave the Milledgeville side on the half hour, and the Peninsula side on the hour, but during rush hours it shuttles and seems to leave Milledgeville at :15 and :45, and the peninsula at :00 and :30. Except on Thursdays when the moon is full, then …. Well, you get the point.
If you, like me, find yourself waiting for your ship to come in, take your newfound spare time to get some geocaching in. Park at the waiting area for the ferry. Cache is a “twist loc” Tupperware container painted black and containing the usual trinkets.
