Geocache Description:

This is yet another in the "Riverside" series of caches - but with an additional element!

The cache is a micro cache (mint container) that is attached by a magnet. The cache only contains a log book so please ensure you have a writing implement with you to sign the log.

The cache container is made of two parts: the lid that is white and the body that is green. The magnet is fixed inside the lid and is quite powerful so when recovering the cache make sure you get both parts. The white part pulls out from the green part to give access to the log. When replacing, please return to the same position and ensure that the white part is at the bottom with the magnet adjacent to the steel. This may sound obvious but is essential for the security of the cache - it will make sense when you find it!

Those that have done other "Riverside" caches may have a good idea where the cache is from the title. Those that have not visited the area and those that have no idea must do some preparation.

 Starting at the co-ordinates given, work out the next position using the bearing and distance given and repeat the process until the final, cache position, is found.

The start and final positions are NOT at the same place. In fact, the starting point, is in the river so you cannot walk it! I recommend calculation for a higher degree of accuracy but plotting should be just as good. If you are unsure of your result please email me with your position and I will let you know how far out you are. You can then have a go or re-work it depending on my answer and/or the feeling of confidence you may have. Remember though, there is a lot of steel along the riverside!
 
If using public transport then North Greenwich tube and bus stations are probably the best or Cutty Sark DLR.

The cache is at ankle/shin height.
