Chelt-e-cam Webcam Cache

Cheltenham has some of the finest regency buildings in England and excellent examples of these can be seen on it's Elm and Horse Chestnut tree lined promanade dating back to 1818, where our web cam cache is situated. Sights of interest along the promenade include the Neptune fountain (1893), the Cenotaph War memorial (1921) and a statue of Edward Wilson who journeyed with Captain Scott on the ill-fated Antarctic expedition of 1910-12.

Those who have never visited Cheltenham before can obtain information about the town by following the links below, or alternatively just pop into the tourist information centre which is visible from the cache location.
There are numerous pay and display car parks in Cheltenham within a short walk of the Promenade and park and ride sites on the outskirts.

When you arrive at the location you should be opposite door number 79. Stand beside the road holding your GPS out in front of you while looking at the camera. Phone a friend and ask them to save the image of you from this URL http://www.prop360.com/test/chelt-cam/ftp/cam_frameset_swap.html on their computer (unless you have a PDA with internet access!) To claim the cache post the image of yourselves when you log your visit.
