The Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens
are the feature of this geocache. There are several gardens
including a community garden, a sesquicentennial forest and a
really neat children's garden just to name a few.
The Arboretum is available to the public from April to October,
and the gates are open from dawn to dusk. They have various
educational and entertaining programs. There are several volunter
opportunities as well. My wife has even taken our kids here to get
their pictures taken. All the flowers in bloom make for some
excellent shots.
The cache is fairly simple with the intent to allow you some time
to enjoy the nature. I will be adding a new letterbox stamp
shortly. If you know what letterboxing is, and if you would like to
stamp the letterbox log please bring your own ink pad and your own
stamp. These two items can be purchased at:
