der Parkplatz & der Weg / the parking &the trip
Parkieren kann man bei P1 und folgt dem Wegweiser (Bild 01). Mit dem 4x4 kann man den Feldweg hinter der ehemaligen Tankstelle benutzen (Bild 02 rechts) und näher zum Cache fahren.
Nach dem idyllischen Rebberg kommt man bald zu den Eisenzäunen. Diese sind auf italienischem Boden! Laut Literatur wollte Italien im letzten Jahrhundert so den Schmuggel unterbinden.
Der Hinweg zu Fuss beträgt ca. 15 Minuten, der Rückweg 10 Min.
Wer etwas mehr vom "Parco del Penz" und vom "Parco Regionale Spina Verde" sehen will, parkiert bei P2. Von hier kann via den Grenzstein #70 das "Fortino del Monte Sasso" besucht werden. Über den "Punto panoramico Terrazza Dosso Pallanza" (PPTDP) und Laghetto gelangt über den Rastplatz "Sosta del Fungiatt" (SDF) zum Cache. Eine Karte gibts hier.
Die Cache-Location ist nicht wirklich romantisch aber trotzdem speziell. Für Nachtcacher eher weniger zu empfehlen... Urteilt selbst!

You can park your car at P1. Follow the sign post (pic 01).
With your 4x4 you can use the track behind the formerly gasstation (pic 02 right) and get closer to the cache.
After the idyllic wine-yard you get soon to the iron-fence. The fence is situated on the italian side of the border. As described in trekking guides, in the last century Italy wanted to suppress the smuggling by this way.
One way to the cache takes about 15 min, the way back 10 min.
If you want to see more of the "Parco del Penz" and the "Parco Regionale Spina Verde", you can park your car at P2. You can reach the "Fortino del Monte Sasso (WW1)" by passing the border at the landmark #70. Visit the "Punto panoramico Terrazza Dosso Pallanza", pass the rest area "Sosta del Fungiatt" (SDF) and get to the Cache. You can download a map here.
The cache-location there is no really romantic but very special. It's not recommended for night-cachers... Make your own opinion!
