Undertow Traditional Geocache
Butano: Alas, I am archiving this cache. But for a good reason. I hope to place it some place else where it can be found again (and maybe not "emptied" so often). But look for some new caches in the area! Sounds like an exciting development.

A cache along the Guadalupe River trail.
This cache is hidden along the Guadalupe River. I found the location while doing a couple of the nearby locations and thought that this spot should have a cache too. I originally had a differnt idea that I have been looking for a spot for, but that wouldn't work here either. So I placed this one.
This cache shouldn't be too difficult to find. Chances are you will look at it before you realize that it is the cache. Though with the crowd in this area that gaze will be pretty short.
The cache area is subject to flooding during certain seasons according to a sign nearby. I think that the cache should be safe at all but the worst of floods, though it may not be accessible. Please use caution when going after the cache during the rainy season.
The coordinates should bring you to the location of the cache. However, if you find that your toes may get squished by those speeding by, look further under your toes. (No need to take risky chances with the cars).
The cache can hold small items, though it is pretty full right now. It contains a Butano Bnechmark #72, a Californa State Park support sticker, breast cancer bracelet, a bouncy ball, and binoculars as well as a log book and pen.
