Ježová, zacátek Schwarzenberského plavebního kanálu
Iglbach, the beginning of the Schwarzenberg´s drain
V tomto míste zacíná nejstarší úsek Schwarzenberského plavebního kanálu, který zacal budovat 4.5.1789 Ing. Josef Rosenauer. Kanál sloužil 125 let od r. 1791 do r. 1916. Kanál je zde napájen vodou z potoka Ježová. Náklady stavby se zaplatily za 2 roky plavením dreva.
Ježová je nyní rovnež hranicní prechod mezi CR a Rakouskem otevrený pro turisty a cyklisty od 8 h do 20 hod denne. Super cesta pro kolo kolem kanálu pokracuje v Rakousku a potom opet u nás.

In this place begins the oldest part of the Schwarzenberg´s drain, with its construction begun on 4th May 1789 Josef Rosenauer. The drain was used 125 years from 1791 to 1916. The drain is watered here from the brook Ježová. The cost of the construction were repaid after 2 years of floating timber. Ježová is today also a border crossing between Czech Republic and Austria open for tourists and cyclists daily from 8 till 20 o´clock. Wonderfull trail along the drain leads in Austria and than again in the Czech Republic.
