Geocache Description:

10k Trail in the Sandias, deep forest, very well maintained trail.

A former student of mine told me about geocaching 14 months ago. The more I heard, the more I was intrigued. 14 months later and 200 cache finds later I'm hooked. Jeremy, his roomate Andrew and I made this cache in celebration of a great connection we've had.

The cache is located .75 miles from the 10K trail parking area, which has a $3 fee, (Someone has to pay for these forests). Pack a lunch and bring your camera. The hike should take anywhere between 20-30 minutes in late spring-early fall. At 12.864 & 26.451 take the upper fork. Go maybe .15 more then take a right off the trail 12.909 & 26.442. Take a seat, unpack your lunch and look around. Because one of us is getting old, there is no pen, so please bring one for the cache!

Cache Contents:
Stylish log book, Slinky, magic towel, personal cooling device, pack of batteries, box for you to make another cache, pair of candle holders, and scented candle wax.
