Jedna z nejvyznamnejsich historickych pamatek zlinskeho regionu - lezi jen 6 km od centra moderniho Zlina. Byl zalozen v 2. polovine 14. stoleti moravskym markrabetem Janem Jindrichem. V nasledujících stoletich prosel nekolika prestavbami, ktere z puvodniho gotického stredovekeho hradu vytvorily renesancni sidlo zameckeho typu, pozdeji jeste barokne upravene. Az do poloviny 20. stoleti si hrad udrzel funkci obytnou a spravni. V jeho drzení se vystridala rada slechtickych rodu (napr. Tetourove z Tetova, Lichtenstejn - Kastelkornove, Salm - Neuburkove), poslednimi majiteli byli v letech 1804-1945 Sternberkove. Cast hradu je pristupna verejnosti. Navstevnici se mohou seznamit napr. s hradnimi interiery, zpristupnena je rovnez hradni vez. ------ Otevreno: kveten - zari: denne krome pondeli 10 - 12 a 13 - 17 hodin XXX duben a rijen: sobota a nedele 10 - 12 a 13 - 16 hodin. ----- PRED ODCHODEM PROSIM ZAMASKUJTE CACHE KUROU. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It had been founded in the second half of the 14th century, and was reconstructed several times, thanks to which a Renaissance residence of a mansion type, later modified in a baroque manner, was built. In the year 1953 the Museum of Southeastern Moravia of our time has obtained the building. A part of the castle and the donjon have been opened up for the public.
