Boren je znelcovy masiv (539 m.n.m.). Je to misto dalekeho rozhledu a tvori vzraznou dominantu zdejsiho kraje, viditelnou jiz z dalekeho okoli. Naleza se na (Z) okraji Ceskeho stredohori asi 2 km na jih od Biliny.
Jeho relativni vyska nad krajinou je az 300 m. Z jeho vrcholu jsou jedinecne rozhledy do nitra Ceskeho stredohori a na hradbu Krusnych hor.
Boren je narodni prirodni rezervaci a plati zde ruzna omezeni a zakazy, presto ale je velice castym cilem turistu a horolezcu.
Prave z duvodu velike exponovanosti mista, byl zvolen ukryt cache mimo vrchol (ve vysce asi 411 m.n.m) i mimo hlavni turistickou cestu - v tesne blizkosti horolezecke stezky.
Nedoporucuje se hledat za snehu a naledi!!!

Boren ist ein Fonolith-Massiv (539 m.ü.d.M.). Es ist ein Ort mit weitem Rundblick und bildet eine markante Dominante hiesiger Region. Es befindet sich (W) am Rande des Tschechischen Mittelgebirges, cca 2 km suedlich von der Stadt Bilina.
Seine relative Hoehe ueber die Landschaft betraegt bis 300 m. Von seinem Gipfel gibt es einmalige Fernblicke bis in das Innere des Tschechischen Mittelgebirges und auf den Wall des Erzgebirges.
Boren ist ein Nationalnaturschutzgebiet mit vielen Einschraenkungen und Verboten, trotzdem aber ist es sehr haeufig ein Ziel von Wanderern und Bergsteigern.
Soeben aus dem Grund, dass die Gegend sehr exponiert ist, wurde ein Cacheversteck abseits von Gipfel gewaehlt (in der Hoehe von cca 411 m.ü.d.M.) und auch abseits vom Wanderweg - am Bergsteigerpfad.
Man wird nicht empfohlen bei Schnee und Glatteis zu suchen!!!

Boren (539 m above the sea) is a place with a far outlook and it is a dominant point of this region. It is located on the (W) edge of Ceske Stredohori about 2 km southern from Bilina. It´s relative high over country is 300 m and from the top there are great views to the Ceské stredohori hills and to Krusne hory.
I do not recommnend you to search when there is a snow or ice!!!
