Geocache Description:

Why "Snow on High Ground" you might be thinking? There's no snow (certainly not in June when the cache went live) and it could hardly be classed as 'high'. Actually the title is a reference to the great novelist Colin Forbes. When you get to the site you will know why.

Park at N 52 53.269 W 001 15.926

This cache is a short walk located in a pretty little Local Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire. Take a moment or two to have a look around and take the circular path around the ponds. There is a lot of wildlife here at the moment particularly butterflys, harvest mice and dragonflys - so bring your camera.
