Geocache Description:

This cache is on land managed by the Forestry Commission so please check out the New Forest Guidelines before you start. Flat terrain, but can be boggy and the undergrowth may be annoying.

This is part of the Solent Way Series placed by Nobby.nobbs and Kitty Hawk. The given coordinates are for a nearby pub, The Royal Oak, a good place for refreshments. Please do not park on the side of the road but use a recognised car park.
  1. From the pub you need to find the Oak Archway. Look around it's not too hard.
  2. When you get to the Arch walk into the small wood on a compass bearing of 050º. You will pass a dog rose, but keep going until you get to the second tree with the low branch that you need to bend down to get under; this tree has honey suckle all over it. Not a long walk only 40 single paces or less.
  3. Now go on a compass bearing of 140º directly towards a silver birch. This takes you to a shallow depression that is a pond in wet weather.
  4. Follow the edge of the pond clockwise and you will come out of the trees. The next tree you come to on your way around the pond is your goal.

The cache is a 2.4 litre Tupperware™box hidden at the location where the three photos were taken from. So match them up and you're there.
