Exit Rte 1 at the Blacks Harbour exit then immediately take Rte 778. Follow it for 6.2 kms to Lighthouse Rd. Park at the end of this road in the turn out area and walk up to the red gate. Now known as the Lighthouse Point lighthouse, it was formerly known as the Beaver Harbour lighthouse and originally as the Drew’s Head lighthouse. The original structure was a much more attractive lighthouse. Today it is a modern fiberglass tower, however the location is lovely. It is one of 68 authentic towers remaining in NB. The .2 mile walk is easy and the view from the LH is spectacular.
PLEASE LEAVE THE CACHE AS WELL OR BETTER HIDDEN THAN YOU FOUND IT!

2022 update: Thanks to awesome cachers chipchip88 and Stokerliz this cache has been updated with a new container and log and placed just a few metres from the old location which is apparently used at times for repelling up and down the steep embankment to the beach below. The cache is attached to the branch of a spruce tree out of view of muggle foot traffic. The cache is at the edge of the treeline so no need to go deep into the woods or anywhere near the edge. HUGE thank you to chipchip88 and Stokerliz for helping out on this one!!
