Take I-40 east to NM(14) for 6 miles.
Then NM(536)The Crest Highway 5.6 miles.
Park in the parking lot for the Tree Spring Trail.(#147)
At the end of the parking lot you will see a vertical plastic(Brown)sign that states ROAD CLOSED,This is the trail to follow, NOT Tree Spring Trail.
This is the trailhead: N35*11.619 - W106*24.280
The cache is .29 from where you parked.
A little ways down the trail you will have to make a turn off from the trail you have been following.
N35*11.481 - W106*24.412
From here you will come across stone markers (3-4 stones in a pyramid.
Keep your eye out for the markers, they are all along the trail (ROAD)to the cache.(!!!People keep knocking them down!!!)(starting at the turn off point)
When you have found the creek and the last pyramid you are at ground zero.
Due to the tree cover I only got 45 feet accuracy.
This is a nice little glade, and a great place to have a picnic so pack one along!
You are looking for the typical clear TupperWare container.
