In 1983 a hunter found the skeletal remains of a girl in these woods. He was never able to lead authorities back to her (before GPS). In 1977 a teenage girl came up missing in Portland. She was last seen at a hunting camp near here. It is speculated that the remains that the hunter found were hers. The remains haven't been found to this day.
The cache is an ammo box. I'm purposely not giving any clues on how to get to the cache. Hopefully you will take a different route than me. Keep your eyes open.
This is "big woods" country, make sure you "mark" your truck. If it's spring bring your trout pole, if it's fall bring your rifle.
