Graculus: This cache has been missing for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:

Located in a small village on the Hampshire & Wiltshire border. There are kissing gates and steps to tackle enroute so unfortunatly it is not buggy or wheel chair friendly. The cache can be approached from either direction by foothpath. Suggested parking at The Black Horse Pub where there is also a very helpful map of all the lovely footpathes in the surrounding area including Clarendon Way.

It is said there are more horses and ponies than people that live here, surrounded by rolling hills which create charming views. So is a great place for spotting foals in the spring.
On Locating the cache you will discover a series of ponds connected by a series of waterfalls. This is a very pleasant and relaxing location good for spotting wildlife. Dragonflies can be seen on a nice day and if you are lucky a glimpse of the Heron who likes to stand on the bridge. There are also a pair of resident Canada Geese with goslings every spring. The lakes are on the grounds of The Old Rectory which is a private family home where we once lived.

WELL DONE TO WILKINSONS who were the FTF this cache on May 30th 2005 & CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SEEKING SALTERS who were the 100th geo cachers to successfully find the cache
