Located on the route of the old Ferny Grove to Samford railway it is a pleasant stroll or bike ride to find the cache.
The cache is a plastic box hidden near the site of a little known event in Queensland rail history. The old railway has long disappeared but is now a pleasant walk or a great alternative way to ride a pushbike from Ferny Grove to Samford and avoid the main road and the hill it climbs over.
The information board disappeared from near GZ for a while. But it has been replaced. Be sure to visit the nearby The Fate of Train E91 cache for more about this little mishap.
