Just like them, unknowingly, you have been recruited by the government security agency to report on the growing sport / game called geocaching.
The agency has, for a long time, suspected that these geocaches are being used as dead drops for the passage of confidential documents and top secret materials which are thought to be 'travel bugs'.
Your mission is to find the dead drop, report on the contents but assume that you are under surveillance at all times. You will need to act like a geocacher but do not arouse any suspicion as this group are well known to each other. You may need to assume the identity of a new geocacher to the area to allay their fears of being infiltrated.
Once you find the initial dead drop, we suspect you will receive more instructions as to the physical location of the geocache. Intelligence suggests one of three locations, all are within an 8km radius of the initial. Two possible sites are near major roadways with small cliff faces and light vegetation and the other at an oil installation. We suspect the third would not be correct as these geocachers would not place anything near an installation such as this.
The agency suggests that you will need some basic tools and to visit the Q to get other toys you may require. If you find you don’t have the required tools, a previous mission stated the use of a drinking straw as extemporisation was required.
On no account are you to take the initial drop to your home as you will be followed. The last agent that did is not an agent any more. Once you complete your mission, you can log it as a find to advise that you have completed the mission.
Intell suggests this cache may contain the following: energy storage devices x2, kinetic energy conversion balls x2, 3 legged lizard native to S.A., bolding device x2, highly prized document allowing 2 people to escape (Note: item has a use-by date).
