There are no entrance fees required during the course of this cache. However, in order to get three of the clues, you will need to time your geocaching activities to: April – October 10am – 5pm, November to March 10.30 – 4pm.

N50°51.652 W001°08.388 this is a 13" cast iron mortar with a mean range of A,000 yards.

Useful information:

Please note that we had to change the clues for this cache due to the fact that the ramparts are closed seasonally. If you get the chance to go up onto the ramparts however, you really should as the views are superb.

There are café and toilet facilities close to N50°51.636 W001°08.326
