Een wandeling van ongeveer 4,5 km in heuvelachtig terrein laat U
kennismaken met de omgeving van de Bemelerberg.
A walk of about 4,5 km in a hilly terrain shows you the
surrounding of the Bemelerberg. You need a torch to find some of
the waypoints. (further English description below)
Helaas heeft een overijverige ambtenaar sinds kort een
bordje "verboden toegang" geplaatst nabij de eindlokatie.
Vooralsnog wil ik de cache nog niet verplaatsen omdat ik vermoed
dat dit "verbod" geen lang leven beschoren is. Maar voor de
voorzichtigen onder ons.... U bent gewaarschuwd.
De opdrachten zijn bewust simpel gehouden zodat je zo veel
mogelijk van de omgeving kunt genieten.
Goed schoeisel is een must,zeker in natte perioden kunnen de
paden zeer modderig en glad zijn.
Een lamp is nodig om alle waypoints te kunnen vinden.
Het grootste deel van het gebied bestaat uit bloemrijke graslanden
en aangrenzend hellingbos. Door zijn ligging op de grens van
hoogterras ,het plateau van Margraten, (Mergel 2) naar middenterras
van de Maas komen er langs de helling verschillende bodemsoorten
aan de oppervlakte. Deze verschillende, boven elkaar gelegen zones
zorgen ervoor dat de Bemelerberg één van de soortenrijkste
reservaten van Het Limburgs Landschap is.

Daal verder af over het zwarte gedeelte. Na 34 witte strepen te
zijn gepasseerd hou je links aan en gaat het trapsgewijs verder
naar:

Hier ga je een stuk smaller lopen naar:
WP 6: 50°50.(A+B+C+D-4517) E 005°4(A+B+C+D+706)
Zoek hier een micro met de coordinaten voor de eindcache.

A major part of the area consists of flowery meadows and a sloping
wood.
Because the area is on the edge of high terrace, the Margraten
planes (Cache: Mergel 2) to middle terrace of the river Meuse many
different kinds of soil surface here. All these different, on top
op each other laying, soils make the Bemelerberg one of the richest
reserves of its kind in Het Limburgse Landschap. On the website of
