Geocache Description:

I no longer live in the lower mainland. If you would like to adopt this cache, please message me.

Norvan Falls is in the Lynn Headwaters Regional Park. It is a 7.0 kilometre hike (one-way). The elevation changes are gentle and the lower trail is suitable for older children (10 and up).

The cache is a small 3 inch round lock & lock, painted green. It contains nothing except a logbook, a pencil, and a sharpener. No cache gifts are necessary (pins, pendants, geocoins, and very small travel bugs exempt). It would probably be better to save the plastic McGarbage and business cards for the city caches. If you come up here, the reward is in the hike, the exercise, and the waterfall.

I could not get a reading at the exact cache location (due to valley and trees), so rock hopped into the middle of the creek and took coords there (only about 15-20 metres from the cache). You'll need to examine the Nice place to sit down and Cache hiding spot photos for this one. The Nice place to sit down is next to the creek, about 8 - 10 metres from the listed coords. Behind the sit-down spot, up on the embankment is the Cache hiding spot. The cache is hidden in a hole, and in the hole the cache is covered with bark and a rock.

Head to the Lynn Headwaters Regional Park website for a PDF map and other park information.
