Geocache Description:

There is off site parking at N52 05 539 E001 21 166, a short walk along a quite busy road brings you to the start of the footpath at N52 05 705 E001 21 009.
Located off one of the footpaths at the Sutton Hoo archaeological site. There is no need to cross any of the boundaries protecting the site.

Sutton Hoo ship burial is one of the most improtant archaeological sites in East Anglia, if not Britain and is supposed to be the burial place of Redwald King of East Anglia. The site is not open all year but the footpaths are. The exhibition is a bit pricey, but for a one off it may be worth it. Probably a good idea to visit the website to find out opening times & prices.
A standard blue topped lunchbox wrapped in a plastic bag containing the usual array of goodies.
