Geocache Description:

Press Release

For Immediate Release: Chaos Puzle Corporation (CPC) is a worldwide leader in puzzle creation and design that develops both ingenious puzzles and practical solutions to be utilized by business, government, individuals, and cryptography experts around the world. Currently, CPC is seeking to fill positions on it's Board of Directors. To this end, the Corporation has charged each department with developing a unique and creative puzzle that will challenge applicants both mentally and physically. Managed by the Board of Directors each puzzle intricately ties to the next to create a choreographed symphony of chaos known as "Choreographed Chaos".

Choreographed Chaos is a multi-stage challenge that serves as CPC's open invitation to find and identify individuals (or teams) with a diverse knowledge base, strong puzzle solving abilities, good internet navigational skills, creative thought, deductive reasoning and most importantly both mental and physical endurance. This challenge has several challenging levels each consisting of an online puzzle and followed by a field challenge. All online puzzles can be found on CPC's secure network servers. Applicants will be required to solve the online puzzle which will yield a set of coordinates to a field challenge. When the field challenge/puzzle has been successfully completed, individuals (or teams) will find a username and password to access the next level of the challenge online. The username and password to enter Level 2 of Choreographed Chaos can be found at the posted coordinates (N39 41.096 W74 38.911). Individuals (or teams) must solve the field challenge to uncover the needed username and password to access the Level 2 area of Choreographed Chaos and the first online puzzle. Any individual (or team) capable of conquering these mentally and physically challenging puzzles will locate the logbook and earn a position on CPC's Board of Directors. Want more information - visit the CPC website at www.ChoreographedChaos.com (then click on the Choreographed Chaos button to begin your quest).
There are two basic ways to tackle Choreographed Chaos:
Individually
This adventure can be tackled by an individual, however, it is full of puzzles and challenges that may prove difficult for one person. This challenge will incorporate all aspects of geocaching including (but not limited to) night caching, paddle caching, 4x4 driving and some serious hiking/bushwhacking. It is never recommended for an individual to attempt any of the aforementioned activities alone. However, individuals will need to make this decision for themselves.
(or)
As a Team
This challenge was developed with the team approach in mind for three main reasons:
1.) A team approach builds friendships and increases the enjoyment level,
2.) The team approach utilizes the strengths of each team member (and this challenge has a wide variety of hurdles),
3.) Safety - it is always advisable to work in the field with others for safety reasons, especially on a 5/5 cache such as this.
Choreographed Chaos is set in the heart of the pines "Wharton State Forest". With over 100,000 acres Wharton is the largest New Jersey State Forest and provides a great backdrop for this challenge. All Levels of the Choreographed Chaos fall within the boundaries of Wharton State Forest (including the final). Choreographed chaos was not designed to be tackled in a weekend - this will take thought, time and several trips. The level one area of Choreographed Chaos contains additional information about camping and caches in the Wharton area. Individuals (or teams) seeking to solve Choreographed Chaos are encouraged to enjoy the bounty of other great caches in the Wharton area. Again, this is not a race - enjoy the adventure and take the time to do some of these other distinguished caches as every stage of Choreographed Chaos will afford an opportunity to complete caches nearby.
In addition to signing the logbook & logging the cache on GC.com, individuals (or teams) that successfully solve & complete Choreographed Chaos will have the option to have their names listed on the "Board of Directors" page of the CPC website. In addition to a custom logbook & trade items, the final cache contains a unique reward for all who complete the challenge and special FTF buttons for the first individual (or team) that makes it to the final coordinates.

The ultimate truth of ... puzzles:

Despite appearances, puzzling is not a solitary game: every move the puzzler makes, the puzzle-maker has made before; every piece the puzzler picks up, and picks up again, and studies and strokes, every combination he tries, and tries a second time, every blunder and every insight, each hope and each discouragement have all been designed, calculated, and decided by the other.

The number one goal of the Choreographed Chaos Challenge is for all participants to have fun. Mental & physical challenges can be frustrating - don't give up. Look around - look everywhere - explore. The CPC website is fully interactive and inundated with clues and hints. If you are stumped look for a clue or secondary puzzle to get you headed in the right direction.
This cache is truly a 5/5 challenge and will provide a great adventure. Expect anything and be prepared for everything. While this cache will not require anything as exotic as climbing or scuba diving, it will require you to reach some extremely remote locations and will definitely challenge your physical limitations.
