Geocache Description:

This is a 3 part multi that will take you on a historical journey around Elmira, NY. The rating is a 2.5 due to it being a multi-cache and there are some calculations involved. The terrain is all flat and you can park at each location within 100 feet or so.

The above coords will take you to a very interesting and historical location. Please take time to read the monument.
For part 2 coords, look on monument for the population of Elmira (not Chemung County) for 1860 and 1865, then put in equation below:

N42 15.917-(population in 1860)= part 2 N coords.
W076 62.608-(population in 1865)= part 2 W coords.

Go to this location. Count the total number of window panes in the front two windows of "his house".

For part 3:

N42 08.742-(# of panes x 100) = part 3 N coords.
W076 52.007-(# of panes x 100) = part 3 W coords.

The actual cache with logbook is located in a nearby tree. As you're standing at the site, pivot around until you see the giant "Goff" ball about 26 paces away. Then look directly past this in a straight line to a tree which is about 65 paces beyond Goff ball. Cache is on the tree. See clue for more specific hint. Please rehide cache carefully.
