A micro-cache close to the visitors centre at Hatfield Forest.
A second cache in Hatfield forest. This one is on the other side of the visitors centre and cafe. It's close to one of the access roads and car park. The entrance to the park is at 51 51.563N 0 14.735E. But if you don't want to pay the entry fee you will have a modest hike to get there. You can park on the road near 51 50.725N 0 13.200E.
The cache is in a film canister near ground level. So it might be tricky to find. It is not burried or in anything. This is a lightly wooded area. Take care, especially of small children, as some of the trees, like many in the forest, are quite thorny.
The original contents were:
A couple of shells.
A small piece of shrapnell.
A small dice.
A very small wicked fairy.
A notebook and pencil.
Best of Luck
