This is a simple little micro at the entrance to Waveny Park in New
Canaan.
When we first moved here, my wife and I took a bike ride to this
park and stopped at the entrance. I had found a small Garfield pin
along the ride and decided to place it amongst the rocks here. On
subsequent visits to the park we have often stopped to see if
Garfield was still there... he still is.
So I decided to give him a little more to guard than the
entrance to the park. You're looking for a tiny container hidden
along side a Garfield pin.
Note that this is a very public spot. You may need to "act
casual" as cars enter and exit the park. Some people may not be
comfortable with this. But I think this is what makes public caches
so neat... the fact that so many people pass within feet of them
everyday without knowing. Just try not to damage any plantings,
flowers, etc. that may exist below the cache. :)
