A fairly short journey along an easy, flat bridleway in an area festooned with industrial archeological relics.
You will however, need exactly the right trade in order to log your find.
The next visitor will check the evidence !
You can approach the cache along the bridle way from either Backbarrow or Haverthwaite and perhaps make it a round. The Anglers at Haverthwaite or Whitewater Hotel at Backbarrow make a good stopping off point.
The Cache is a small container with a log book and a 2004 coin.
Had some fun with this one - originaly to log a find
you had to a coin of any denomination or country that is dated in the previous year from the last log. I leave it up to you now - if you can manage a trade great - if not log your visit anyway
So the first to find will need to leave behind a coin dated 2003. The next cacher will need a 2002 coin, and so on.
Take the coin out that is there and replace it with your trade so the cache only has one coin.
You might want to bring several coins just in case someone beats you to the cache or is slow logging their find.
The idea for this cache came a cache in Glasgow which was in turn inspired by one in Nashua, New Hampshire, USA.
Difficulty may increase as more trades are made, and I might reset it after we get to 1970.
If you can not make the correct trade you may post a note but a find log will be deleted!!
