Exposed walk with great views. Good path
On our first visit to "the empty quarter" Wee Mo and I set off to hide our first cache. The weather was very mixed with Sun, wind, sleet and snow as we reached the outermost limit of our circular tour. The views going up and coming down were, to say the least, spectacular. Keep an eye on the mountain across the locha and you can easily predict the weather as the clouds seem to tip the top.Return part of the way back down the track you came up. The track alongside the river once led to a bridge across to the sheep pens. This has since been washed away.
