Geocache Description:

Cache is a regular tobacco container with the standard swag and logging material.

This cache was hidden while filming the interview Dragoon and I had with the TV show "Breakfast Television" - the wake up show of the Maritimes. After heading out to find 3 caches in the area, the cameraman Jim stated he had the perfect place to hide a cache. This led us here.

Juan's presence is evident in this area and I ended up snagging the mic chord on a branch and severing the chord from the battery unit. Armed with our final mic, we filmed the final spot for the show and proceeded to hide the cache in a great spot.

You know with all the free plugs I gave the sport and geocaching.com you'd think they should send me some free GC swag or something...

Anyways, we managed to plug the 2005 CITO day event in Moncton, the site, talked about the sport, who does it, how it's done, where to go to learn more about it, the local association (Maritime Geocaching Association - MGA), and still had time to throw out my son's name on the air.

Besides the header I took (we all took headers, I just was the one they caught on film) we had a great time and look forward to the next time BT would like to do a caching hunt adventure! Jim and Cyril told us they would look into the cache every now and then to check the logs... so be warned! They'll be reading YOUR words ;-)

If you would like to watch the 6 spots which played on the program (and yes... my fall which appeared in the end credits) head over to http://www.maritimegeocaching.com and in the files section of the forums, you'll be able to watch the whole segment. (thanks to Rob for captuing and encoding it)

And again, a huge thanks to Cyril, Jim, Natalie (The Director) and the whole BT crew for making this happen!

This Cache was hidden by a member of the MGA!
