I've spent all winter working on cache ideas. Now it's time to
start getting them out there!
This will be a short hike (less than a mile round trip) that
will bring you back near your starting point. The cache is just two
stages: stage one, where you get the clue for the nest stage and
stage two, the final cache. No bushwhacking is required to reach
stage one. The trail will get you there. Also, the conservation
area borders private land that is well posted. Please respect
it.
I designed this with the seasoned cacher in mind, but even a
greenhorn will have fun. Still, the more and varied caches you've
found, the better off you'll be and the more you'll enjoy this
one.
This cache will challenge you. You will question what you
already know about geocaching and your gut instincts will be
tested. It's a play on your mind, hence the name. (You'll see more
clearly when you find stage one!)
The final cache is a 7.6 cup Lock & Lock container. There is
no dedicated FTF prize here, sorry. I'm on a budget now. But I did
stock the cache with Star Wars PEZ dispensers (no candy tho). Also,
there should be a couple TB's in there to start out.
There's plenty of good parking at
N 42° 22.594, W 072° 29.169. Weekends tend to be busy, and this
is a popular spot for dog walking.
As always, PLEASE PUT EVERYTHING BACK THE WAY YOU FOUND IT.
Think of the next cacher. Make sure they get the same challenge you
did.
Finally, some things you may want to bring: a pencil (who caches
w/o their own pencil anyway?)
Toodles! And good luck!
Enjoy the adventure, and please…
