Geocache Description:

At war, the Swedish Air Force operates from the road net. These sections of roads are prepared for this and slightly wider than a normal two lane road. One of the first to be built in Sweden was the 2 km long "roadbase"south of Sjöbo during the 1950ies. The large paved areas at both ends of the road are old parking places for the aircraft. Cache at the remains of a defense post.

Svenska Flygvapnet opererar från vägbaser under krigstid. En av de första i landet att byggas är den (numera nedlagda sedan många år) 2 km långa flygrakan söder om Sjöbo. De stora asfalterade ytorna vid vägbasens båda ändar är gamla uppställningplatser för flygplanen. Cachen ligger vid resterna av en besfästning.
