One of my favorites spots on all of Palmyra. Located on Cooper Island, not far from the airstrip. Be sure to bring a swim suit, a camera, and some nerve.
Cache is five gallon bucket painted green. Contents were a little on the cheapo side, and for this I apologize. Hopefully further visitors will expand contents, because there is nothing but space in there.
Finding cache requires little to no off trail tromping, so please respect the local flora. Depending upon how overgrown cache location gets, the last 15 feet might be a bit of a tromp.
Small note on cache maintenance: While I don't reside on Palmyra, I am often in contact with friends that do and are willing to look after my cache. The property is technically owned by the Nature Conservancy, I think, and I got the permission of the manager to place this cache. I think this will be great fun for any cruisers or visiting scientist geocachers.
