Cachen er lagt ut i nærheten av Kalhovd Turisthytte 1083 m over havet. Den er nå flyttet noen meter og ligger tryggere enn før med tanke på vær og vind. Den er ikke tilgjengelig når det er snø. Du kan komme til Kalhovd på 2 måter - med bil fra Attrå i Tinn ( 33 km ) , eller du kan ta Krossobanen opp på fjellet fra Rjukan og sykle de 3 mila inn til Kalhovd. Det er en flott tur over fjellet på vegen som blei anlagt da Mår Kraftverk blei bygd.
(Er du riktig sprek - sykler du ned til Attrå og opp til Rjukan igjen.) Vel framme må du ta deg en kaffi/vaffel eller noe annet på verandaen til turisthytta. Her er det flott utsikt over Kalhovdfjorden, - og har du tid - bør du benytte fiskestanga. Ta en prat med vertskapet om hvor fisken er.Seinsommer er det også multer i dette området.

The cache is placed close to Kalhovd Turisthytte 1083 m above sea level. It has now been moved a few meters and is now safer concerning wind and rain.
It is not available when it is snow.
You can reach Kalhovd in 2 ways, - by car from Attrå in Tinn (33 km), or you can take Krossobanen from Rjukan and up on the mountain and then use your bike to Kalhovd. It is a nice ride across the mountain on the road that was built in connection with Mår Kraftverk .
At Kalhovd Turisthytte you you should use the opportunity to have a cup of coffee, a piece of waffle or something else on the veranda enjoing the mountain surroundings. And if there is time, and you brought your fishing rod - use it!
Have a chat with the host and the hostess about the fish, and they'll probably tell you where the fish is. In late summerthere might be cloudberries in the area too.
