The cache is south of Newbury off the Newbury to Basingstoke Road (A.339). There is a gentle slope if you take the first parking co-ordinates route.
Suggested parking (for a shorter walk, but up a gentle slope) is in the layby at N51 22.370, W001 18.561. There is then a walk back along the road to the footpath. (N.B. the footpath sign is more like a notice than the usual pointed sign.) For a longer but more level walk park at N51 23.095, W001 18.365 and follow the footpath across Greenham Common.
The cache is a small rectangular plastic container covered in black tape containing a selection of small items, a log book and some finder cards. N.B. It was difficult to get a consistent fix of the co-ordinates, so please be prepared to search the area. If you can get better co-ords. please let us know. Thanks.
