Aparcamos en la zona recreativa de la ermita de Santa Ana (Torredelcampo), luego una ascensión que en algunos sitios presenta gran densidad de arbustos y suelo algo rocoso. El caché queda a unos 450 m del inicio de la marcha.
The car is left in the Santa Ana's hermitage area (Torredelcampo), about 450 meters from the target; then we need to go up a slope which is not very hard. In our way some places could have a bushy, rocky ground.
En las pistas (Hints) dejo mi recomendación para acercarse al caché por la dificultad que se presenta actualmente debido al crecimiento de la vegetación y también información sobre el lugar concreto donde está escondido.
Mirando hacia el norte tenemos el valle del Guadalquivir, limitado por las discretas elevaciones de Sierra Morena (la franja de montañas oscuras). Bajo nosotros las poblaciones de Torredelcampo(derecha) y Torredonjimeno (izquierda) a modo de gigantescos buques en el mar de olivos.
Hay una romería a esta ermita el primer domingo de mayo.
Tambien pueden visitarse varias tumbas de época visigoda, excavadas en la roca del suelo, que se encuentran a la derecha conforme se entra en este área recreativa de Santa Ana y un muro ciclópeo (de grandes piedras), que aparece a la izquierda, de época romana que se construyó sobre fortificaciones íberas previas.
Un consejo es que si es hora para ello aprovechéis para comer, bien donde se haya el caché (tranquilidad y buenas vistas) o en el área recreativa donde hay unas fuentes con un agua muy buena.
There are hints with my advice to get a more easy approach to the cache because the current growth of the vegetation has made a bit difficult to get it and also some information about the specific placement of the cache.
Looking to the north, the great Guadalquivir valley, bordered on the not too high and dark Sierra Morena mountains. Under our position the villages of Torredelcampo (right) and Torredonjimeno (left) like magnificent ships on the olive trees sea.
There is a popular meeting in the Santa Ana's hermitage to celebrate this saint, in may, first sunday.
You can visit too: some visigothic tombs (5th century AD) excavated in rock, they are placed just at the entrance (to the right) of this recreational area (consider this entrance the curve of the road where finally you arrive to the area); and a Roman wall (too entering but to the left) build with big stones over preroman fortifications.
If it's the right time it could be a great idea to do a country side lunch in the place of the cache (good sight and quietness) or in the reacreational area (pines, shadows and a fresh fountain water).
