We have set this cache as a retrieval point for our "walkabug" travel bugs we are leaving around the country, it is located in Lillinonah Woods in Brookfield next to Lake Lillinonah.
There is a small parking area at N41 28.522 W73 21.054.
The cache is about a 1/4 mile walk from the parking area.
Walk past the gate and down the road to the trail head at N41 28.598 W73 20.991.
Watch for the stone stairs and the small kiosk with a trail map.
Take the blue trail in either direction, one way will be uphill to the cache, the other will be downhill,the trail is obvious and well marked.
The cache is a pretty easy to find ammo can hidden in the usual way for this area.
The first to find prize is a commemorative "walkabug" token.
As usual, be discreet, re-hide the cache as you found it, or better and take the usual precautions with regard to deer ticks.
If, in your travels you find one our "walkabug" travel bugs, please help it on its way home.
4/18/05 Upgraded overall difficulty to 2-1/2 because of erratic gps readings in this area that are only bound to get worse as the trees bloom, and also because feed back from other cachers leads me to believe the hide is more difficult to spot than I thought.
5/21/05 Had to rehide cache as original hide had become unstable. Coord's still good, only moved it a couple of feet. Should be easier to spot now, reduced o/a difficulty to 2.
