Located at The McCully Heritage Project, just south of Kampsville, IL.
This cache will take you northbound on the property. Take the trail to the left from the parking lot. This will take you between the building and put you on the right track! You will pass the cabin and family cemetary, the lake, picnic site and some shelters. This trail also has a 200+ foot elevation change, so be advised! The cache is a small tupperware style container with a log and a few trinkets to trade. There is also a lookout platform nearby. In time we hope to get one more cache placed farther out in the loop to the northwest. Hope you enjoy the hike.
