Located just south of Kampville, IL, in the McCully Heritage Project.
Take IL Route 100 to Crawford Creek Hollow Road. Parking for the McCully Heritage Project is located on the north side of the road. WE DO HAVE PERMISSION TO GEOCACHE THIS PROPERTY, BUT PLEASE SIGN IN AT THE PARKING AREA. Be advised there is a 250' vertical change and a couple of miles of walking to get to this cache. You will need to cross a stream regardless of the route you take, but we were able to do so without getting our feet wet. It may be a different story if attemped after a heavy rain!
Start the trail at N39*16.940, W090*37.096. You will be at the stream soon. Once finished with the climb, the trail is quite nice. At the cache you'll find a bench where you can sit, have lunch, and enjoy the view. The trail does make a loop if you feel so inclined, or you can go back the way you came.
