Geocache Description:

Located at the bottom of the Acropolis hill, at the northern side, at the area called Anafiotika. There are some stairs you have to climb in order to reach the cache.

The cache is a micro one, a film canister with a magnet attached. While you walk at the circular road of the Acropolis hill, at the northern side you have to find a small church named "Agios Symeon".This church has a yard around it and an iron door that you can actually see through it to the yard and the church. While you are at the iron door level, you count 4 steps to the path right and you walk until the next 5 steps. Then look for the cache at the fence on your right. From this spot, you have an amazing view of the city of Athens.Right in front of you there is the dome of the church.Do not forget to take some pictures. In them you will also have the Lycabetus hill and many many beautiful buildings. If you visit the place during the night, you will see Athens by night! And of course above your head you will have the Acropolis rock...need some more words for this place? I think you better visit the spot and see for yourself ! Please bring your own pen or pencil to sign at the logbook because the listerine box contains only the log sheet. Enjoy ! ! !
