Laiterie de Coaticook
L'inauguration de la Compagnie date de 1940, toujours située au 45, rue Cleveland, Coaticook, l'usine a été transformée maintes fois. Au début, La Laiterie de Coaticook Ltée, avait un service de lait à la clientèle avec voitures et chevaux, par la suite s'ajouta la fabrication de la crème glacée, popsicles, revels, fudges et le fromage cheddar doux. Les cultivateurs locaux alimentaient en lait les besoins de l'usine.
Cette industrie locale de type familiale changea son orientation en 1976 pour ce concentrer exclusivement à la Production de fromage & crème glacée. Depuis 1989, Jean & Johanne Provencher, propriétaires actuels, insufflent un nouveau dynamisme au niveau du rayonnement de l'entreprise Coaticookoise. Par l'ajout de nouveaux produits, tel que :
Bûches de Noël à la crème glacée, lait glacé P'tit velours, bâtonnets glacés C-Cool, fromage vieilli ainsi que maintes nouvelles saveurs de crème glacée. Jean & Johanne ont su régaler leur clientèle en distribuant à plusieurs endroits au Québec.

CThe inauguration of the Company goes back to 1940, always located at the 45, Cleveland street in Coaticook, the factory was transformed many times. At the beginning, the Laiterie de Coaticook Ltd, had a milk service to the customers with cars and horses, thereafter was added the manufacture of dairy ice cream, popsicles, revels, fudges and the mild cheddar cheese. The local farmers supplied the dairy with the milk it needed.
This local family business changed its orientation into 1976 to concentrat exclusively on the production of cheese & dairy ice cream. Since 1989, Jean & Johanne Provencher, the current owners, insufflate a new dynamism on the level of the influence of the Coaticook company.
