This cache has been replaced in a location very near the Original cache...it had been reported by a Muggle as "suspicious" and was thrown away by a Ranger. The new cache is not an ammo box, so may look less scary to those Muggles [:O]
You can park close, but have to pay for the County Park. It is accessible from the bike trail, but the last part is dirt.
Cache is a plastic biscotti jar from Costco, painted camo. It contains all sorts of misc. stuff. The general area is nice, with a good view of the American River and Billy Pond
As always, PLEASE, PLEASE, be mindful of muggles while searching for and replacing the cache.
