Geocache Description:

Located along the Santa Rosa trail in Wildwood Park. The cache is a round tin placed only a few feet off the trail.

The last year has given us some really weird weather patterns. We've had an extremely warm summer clear through November with no rain. December brought us mixed rain and warm sunny days. Now January drenches us with the most rain we've seen in years. I think the term "el nino" is a bit overused. Its time we created a new term for this un-seasonal weather.

The cache you seek is only about 0.25mi from parking. You can use the main parking lot on Avenida de Los Arboles or drive further in to the lower parking lot. The walk is about the same from either. Take normal hiking precautions and search for ticks, watch for snakes, and look before reaching into bushes.
