To complete this cache you will walk a mile and a half, (maybe
considerably more if your GPS is as naff as ours), but it is worth
it !
Often you will encounter wildlife en route, you may see New
Forest Ponies, Highland cattle grazing, and you may also see deer,
either individual ones or even whole herds of them. (The highland
cattle despite their size and large horns are very gentle and won’t
trouble you.)
In summer this is a favourite spot with picnickers, and the
shade dappled river is popular with hot children, (and overgrown
children), wishing to paddle. An (expensive) ice cream van may
often be found in a nearby car park on the other side of the river.
In winter the terrain is a little more “challenging”, so a severe
winter wellies warning should be observed!!! In summer maybe bring
a barbeque.
There is adequate free parking, although in the summer it may be
busy(ish).
There is no need to leave footpaths except when you are close to
the final cache, and even then it isn’t far off.

add both), sides of this structure are some uprights supporting
a handrail, how many? = A.(1 Digit)
2nd Location: N50°49.797 W001°36.018. On the sign, units
should be how many feet apart + A =B.(2 Digits)
3rd Location: N50°49.429 W001°36.644. A Post with 2
Stripes. One is Red, the other represents a number. Think of
Rainbows ! If Richard is 1, and Battle is 5, which number is the
second stripe? =C (1 Digit)
