Geocache Description:


The location of this cache is on the township boundaries of Beckwith Twp. to the north, and Montague Twp. to the south. It is also on the regional boundaries of Ottawa City to the east and Lanark to the west. The trail is an old unmaintained road which I believe used to be the original Beckwith Boundary Rd.

The trail entrance is on Montague Rd., about 300 meters south of Beckwith Bndry Rd. you can also access Montague Rd. from the south end off Roger Stevens Dr. Watch for a barn close to the road with a big red door. The trail is almost directly across the road (N45 04.231 W075 57.052). Montague is not a busy road so you can park along side the road anywhere. After a short 1km hike down the trail, the cache is just off the trial. No need to jump fences or cross into private property. The trail is used by snowmobiles in the winter so please be mindful of them approaching and step to the side. Winter friendly, Dog friendly.
