Geocache Description:

Scaleber Force is a waterfall in a deep wooded gorge, over which flows Stockdale beck, a stream originating off Rye Loaf Hill which lies on the watershed between the rivers Aire and Ribble.

The cache is an easy one. It can be reached by car and is situated just a short hop from the road on the limestone Moors above Settle on the road to Kirby Malham and Malham in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You could, of course walk up from Settle or over from Malham and take in other caches on route. A good walk can also be had from the Victoria Cave cache. Or just take the easy option, miss out on the spectacular scenery and hop over the wall. After heavy rainfall it can be quite a spectacular sight, and the path may well be a little slippery so take care.
