Geocache Description:

The listed coordinates will take you to the newest (at the time this cache was listed) monument honoring local people lost in Viet Nam.(referred to as Site 1 below)

You will need to also visit another monument at N 38° 38.723 W 075°37.688 (referred to as Site 2 below)to get the information needed to decipher the coordinates of the cache.

Note: On 1/8/13 the cache was replaced at a slightly different location because of tree maintenance.

N 38° 4A.BCD
W 075°2E.FGH

X= the number of people whom have their names at both sites. Note: Don't be tempted to to just use the town name to figure the answer.....you would be wrong.

A= the number of men listed at Site 1 that served in the USAF.

B= the number of men listed at site 1 that are from Georgetown.

C= X minus D

D= (the number of "Jr"s listed on the monuments as lost in Viet Nam) minus A.

EF= (total number of different men that were listed at site 1 or site 2 as lost in Vietnam) plus A.

EF clarification: Add the number of men listed at site 1 and (the number of men listed at site 2 that were NOT listed at site 1)then add A.

GH= (the last 2 digits in the year that the monument at site 2 was dedicated) plus (2 times X).
