This is the second of a series of puzzle caches dealing with
Austrian literature (hence the abbreviation AL). Each cache deals
with one author. You will likely need to read one or more books to
be able to answer the questions.

Question A
The author has written a novel with four chapters. The titles of
the chapters 1 and 2 only differ by a single letter from the titles
of the chapters 3 and 4. This letter’s number in the alphabet be
Z.

Question B
V. is telling H. about the school trip to Rome. Calculate the
second crossfoot of the year the trip took place.
This figure be B.
Question C
V is confronting his former teachers with their past. Take the
first membership number read out (J. B.) and calculate the
crossfoot (XY).

The handwritten protocol of the police spy Fernando Rodriguez is
the last document belonging to the file “Processo Manoel Dias
Soeiro” with the file number IP 2W 0W M 1606F in the Lisboa city

In another novel by this author, a person tells about the process
of counting border stones. In the second paragraph of chapter 2,
subchapter 16, the author obviously makes a reference to the title
of an other author’s book (the other author died in the same year
that this novel is set in). Count the letters in the name of the
book of the second author and in the “profession” that somehow
hints to this book in the novel by RM - how many letters are there
before you encounter the first difference in spelling (not counting
the article)?

In another novel by RM, L. and J. are meeting in Vienna. Both had
grown up in another city. If it was in

Solution
Find the cache at the following coordinates:

The cache container is a translucent 35mm film container wrapped in
a piece of black plastic containing just a log sheet and a small
pencil. Please be carefull when retrieving the cache (be aware of
the terrain rating!).
