Geocache Description:

Yet another ammo box, hidden in the woods

Turkey day seemed an appropriate day to hide a Turkey Cache. Or is it the other way around? Did the Turkey Cache give us an excuse to go out and have fun outdoors, even although it was Thanksgiving Day?

Whatever the reason, we did hide a cache today. Just picture in your mind, waking up to the perfect Thanksgiving Day, temperature up to 64 F / 18 C, sunny, a day that just yelled at us to go out and hide a cache. Off we went, after doing the 6,491 things that are required to leave the house with all the Oggettes.

We parked at N 43 38.837 and W072 20.997 , where we entered the Hurricane Forest and Wildlife Refuge Park. It started raining. We decided to ignore it, my parents always joked that a little bit of rain wouldn't melt us. We hiked on and on, ignored more and more rain. The rain didn't get the hint, and changed into a torrential downpour. There was lightning and thunder and lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth. Ignoring this rain obviously wasn't working, so we decided to find a quick hiding spot and then run back to the van.

Hid the cache, made it back to the van, amidst the rain pouring down on us. And guess what happened when we had reached the car? Yes, it stopped raining, and the sun came out again, changing the world into a much friendlier looking place.

We had a hard time getting a good reading, the combination of tree cover and downpour is not very GPS-friendly. This is the best we could come up with

TUXZNL UXZEZN XKKZNO XZEKOM NZVUOT ZKOMNZ NATJXK JYKBKTZ EURKEY
CKYZYK BKTZEZ CUZCKTZ EUTKVU OTZZNX KKNATJ XKJZNO XZEYKBK TURKEY

Solve this puzzle and you will find the cache coordinates! The coordinates at the top are just telling you where to park. The cache contains the usual swag, like a small radio, indian arrow head, zebra beanie baby, bracelet, and more. The first finder prize is a book by Terry Pratchett 'Pyramids'.

There is no hunting allowed at this cache location, so this would be a perfect cache to do during hunting season.

Enjoy!
