located very close to the road. through a gate and up a little hill. due to undergrowth is slightly difficult to get to.
park n 50.52.498 w 1.46.570 this is in the area which used to be ibsley airfield in WW2. has since been dug for gravel. this has resulted in several lakes which host lots of waterbirds all year round. there is a basic hide here for views over this lake.
if you are not in a rush spend some time at this lake and the other local ones to see what wildlife you can see.
then after the cache it's worth going to n 50.52.455 w 1.46.000 at this location there is a great view over the river valley and the lakes all the way to somerley house. good walking around here on the edge of the forest. then to finish the trip off. the alice lisle pub is just down the road at n50.52.311 w1.46.486.
the container is a plastic old style sweet container in a camo bag.
the clue will make it very easy.
