Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates given are NOT those for the cache.

NB Harry's Place, though still possible to claim as a virt, has no longer direct access to the sluices.  The answer to the puzzle is X=4.  4 needs to be placed in the equation below.

Difficulty rating lowered considerably to reflect this.

Some of you will have completed "Harry's Place", in Derbyshire, a cache I created to celebrate the early years of my father's life as a young accountant. This cache celebrates the later years when father had worked on the financial side of industry all has life, and, partially in recognition for this, had spent a year in office as the Master of one of the Ancient Livery Companies of London.

When you have worked out the precise location of the cache you will find yourself outside the Hall of this Livery Company. On the wall, between the floors, are a number of metre square cast bronze plaques.

On each of these plaques are the initials of members of the company at the time the building, the new hall, was erected. To claim the cache please tell me who is on either side of my Father (HHD). (and just for fun see if you can find me as well - DAD- ).

PLEASE - when you mail me your answer let me know YOUR email address so I may reply to you -simply tick the box that says "I want to send my email address along with this message."

To find the cache you will also need to have visited and claimed Harry's Place, or have found the answer out by other devious means!!

The answer to Harry's Place = X  (NB  X=4)

Harry's Other Place is at: N51 31. (5-X)(8-X)(1+X) W00 05. (5+X)(10-X)(X-4)

I look forward to hearing from you, perhaps!

Up date!

To continue a sort of family tradition my little brother has just finished his year of being Master!
